Ski Trip 2019

After a very successful Ski Trip to Sunday River, Maine, USA in 2017, The Bromfords School and Sixth Form College are planning another trip for Easter 2019. Last year, 62 students visited Maine, developing their skiing ability and in many cases, trying the sport for the first time. The feedback from students and parents alike was so positive that we have planned another trip to the USA for April 2019. The next trip will be to Winter Park, Colorado. Details of this trip can be found in the accompanying letter and power point. If you have any further questions regarding this trip, please contact Mr Ford at the school.

Miss Cullen who organised the event has been overwhelmed with the donations.  Staff, students and parents dug deep to donate and we are pleased to announce that previous years totals have been beaten  and we have raised a whopping £519.56

Year 7 Rhys Szuszkiewicz, Lara Clark, Charlie Brewer, Lily Dorrell and Katie Anderson have been selected to be School Ambassador’s for displaying excellent examples for their commitment to their work and our high expectations.  They have each written a speech to deliver to year 6 parents at Open Evening, they are really happy here at The Bromfords School and Sixth Form College and I know they will be excellent role models for younger students in the future.

The Bromfords School and Sixth Form College has achieved an important benchmark by being awarded the Learning Outside the Classroom Mark (Bronze) award. Bromfords are the only mainstream secondary school in Essex to hold this award.  This is a powerful statement of understanding the commitment and the benefits of learning outside the classroom (LOtC).
